- Purpose: To clean calcium deposits off of the titanium cell plates inside your Hayward Turbo Cell T-15 prologning the life of your Hayward Salt Cell T-15 by an average of 50%
- Rule of Thumb: Inspect your Hayward salt cell replacement every 3 months or every 500 hours of operation. If calcium is noticeable, clean the cell using the replacement Hayward cell cleaning stand.
- How To Clean: (1) Turn off pool filter pump and chlorinator. (2) Remove Turbo Cell T15 from plumbing. (3) Attach the Hayward Turbo Cell T-3 to the stand with cable side facing up.
- How To Clean: (4) Pour into Hayward Turbo Cell t-9 2 parts water 1 part acid. ADD ACID TO WATER, NEVER WATER TO ACID (5) Allow mixture to settle until foaming stops. Usually takes about 10 minutes.
- How To Clean: (6) Empty and rinse Hayward T9 cell with fresh water carefully. (7) Repeat process if necessary (8) Re-install Hayward T15 salt cell and turn on pool pump and chlorinator.
